MIAMI, Okla. —
The re-established broadcasting club at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College has begun airing NEO13 News, a weekly, 30-minute show that can be seen at 7, 8 and 9 p.m. on Tuesdays, and throughout the week on Channel 13, as well as online via YouTube and Facebook.
The show is full of clips and videos, all written, filmed and edited by students.
The segments include dorm room recipes, presentations from the college president, a video of the week, a guest of the week, and campus activities, among other features highlighted during each episode.
“NEO13 is a great opportunity for our students to showcase the many great events and activities on this campus,” said Amy Ishmael, vice president of student affairs and enrollment management. “It helps get the word out on events and activities in a fun and creative manner that I believe will be very popular with the students. I applaud the efforts that have gone into this new organization and show. It is great.”
