Area residents are continuing their search today for Rowan Ford, 9, of Stella, who has been missing since Friday night.
“This is all just a terrible dream, a terrible nightmare, and I am going to wake up and she is going to be there,” said Colleen Spears, the girl’s mother. “There are other times where I think they are not going to find her, or they are going to find her and she is not going to be all right.”
Ford is the daughter of Spears and the stepdaughter of David Spears, and is a fourth-grader at Stella Elementary School.
Newton County Sheriff Ken Copeland said today the FBI also has been contacted about the case.
