A Joplin man was injured in a motorcycle accident at 1:30 p.m. Sunday on Missouri Highway 90, two miles east of Noel in McDonald County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Daudi R. Eck, 26, was taken by ambulance to St. John’s Regional Medical Center in Joplin, the state patrol said.

Eck was riding an eastbound motorcycle that left the road and struck a ditch, the patrol said.

n A Welch, Okla., man was injured in a two-vehicle accident at 9:23 a.m. Monday on an unspecified county road six miles west of Miami in Ottawa County, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

Samuel Jorgenson, 93, was taken by medical helicopter to St. John’s Regional Medical Center in Joplin, the patrol said.

Jorgenson was driving an eastbound car that ran into the front of a westbound road grader operated by Robbie Robinson, 55, of Miami, Okla., the patrol said. The road grader was stopped with flashers on when the collision took place, the patrol said.
