The Kansas Lottery Gaming Facility Review Board today selected Harrah's Entertainment to build a casino and hotel in Sumner County. The vote was 4 to 3.
The board had selected Penn National Gaming to build a Cherokee County casino, but Penn officials have said they may not go forward in Cherokee County if they did not also get the Sumner County contract.

Couple 'scoop out' ice cream business from the past
