PITTSBURG, Kan. — Three men were seriously injured and two men were arrested on felony battery charges after a disturbance Sunday in the 1900 block of South Pine Street in Pittsburg, according to a news release from the Pittsburg Police Department.

Officers responding at 1:19 a.m. found three unconscious men on the ground, police said.

Emergency medical help was summoned, and all three were taken to Mount Carmel Regional Medical Center in Pittsburg. One of the victims, whose names were not being released on Monday, was transported to the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City because of the severity of head injuries he suffered, police said.
