Two statewide candidates filed reports of large donations on Tuesday with the Missouri Ethics Commission.

Sen. Chris Koster, D-Raymore, a candidate for Attorney General, reported $25,000 from Hershewe Law Firm, of Joplin, and $25,000 from Dollar, Burns and Becker, of Kansas City.

Sen. Brad Lager, R-Savannah, a candidate for Treasurer, reported a $10,000 donation from Rudy Farber, of Neosho.

Under a new Missouri law, candidates may accept donations of any size, but donations of $5,000 must be reported electronically with the Missouri Ethics Commission.
