A Cassville man was injured in a single-vehicle accident at 1:20 p.m. Tuesday on a private lot along Route W, a half-mile west of Butterfield, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
Ricky J. Meloy, 50, was taken by ambulance to St. John’s Hospital in Cassville, the patrol said.
Meloy was driving an eastbound van that struck a pole as he was pulling into a parking lot, the patrol said.
n A Racine resident was injured in a two-vehicle accident at 1:10 p.m. Tuesday on Missouri Highway 86, four miles south of Joplin, the state patrol said.
Jackie L. Casey, 51, was taken by ambulance to Freeman Hospital West in Joplin, the patrol said.
Casey was driving a southbound car that was struck in the side by an eastbound car driven by Robin M. Johnson, age not available, of Joplin, when Johnson pulled from a stop sign on Douglas Fir Road, the patrol said.
n Two people were injured in a single-vehicle accident at 8:50 p.m. Monday on Catnip Road, two miles west of Joplin in Jasper County, the state patrol said.
The driver of the car, Bobbie R. Cope, 33, and her passenger, Neva J. Brill, 44, both of Joplin, were taken to St. John’s Regional Medical Center in Joplin, the patrol said.
The northbound car ran off the road on a curve and struck a tree, the patrol said.
