An Aurora resident was injured in a two-vehicle accident at 1:35 p.m. Friday on U.S. Business Highway 60, one mile west of Verona in Lawrence County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
John W. Stafford, 66, was taken to St. John’s Hospital in Aurora, the state patrol said.
Stafford was driving an eastbound car that crossed the center line and then swerved to avoid a collision with a westbound car driven by Peggy R. Templeman, 43, of Verona, causing Stafford’s car to run off the road and overturn, the patrol said. Templeman also swerved and her vehicle ran off the road and overturned, the patrol said.
n A Seligman woman was injured in a two-vehicle accident at 7:40 a.m. Friday on Missouri Highway 37, two miles south of Washburn in Barry County, the state patrol said.
Lisa M. Main, 35, was taken by ambulance to St. John’s Hospital in Cassville, the patrol said.
Main was driving a northbound van that collided with a southbound vehicle driven by Ashley R. Moore, 19, of Cassville, at the center line of the highway, the patrol said.
n A Cassville woman was injured in a single-vehicle accident at 1:35 p.m. Thursday on Missouri Highway 76, seven miles east of Cassville in Barry County, the state patrol said.
Julie M. Underwood, 22, was taken by ambulance to St. John’s Hospital in Cassville, the patrol said.
Underwood was driving a westbound car that was rounding a curve when it slid on debris and ran off the road, striking a fence, the patrol said.
