RIVERTON, Kan. — The highway roundabout at Riverton opened this morning, a day later than originally planned.
Kristy Kelley, Kansas Department of Transportation community affairs manager, said some final touch-ups and other work was required that prevented it from opening Wednesday as announced.
Work began June 7. The roundabout is located at the intersection of U.S. Highway 69 Alternate, U.S. Highway 400, Kansas Highway 66 and Beasley Road.
