A 26-year-old man has pleaded guilty to aiding and abetting a theft of explosive materials from the Hallowell Manufacturing plant in Columbus, Kan., in June of this year.
Jonathan Farley, of Oswego, Kan., a former security guard at the plant, entered the guilty plea in U.S. District Court in Wichita. Farley, who will be sentenced March 9, is facing up to 10 years in a federal prison and a fine up to $250,000.
Co-defendants Darrell E. Cook, 34, and Shane A. Knoffloch, 37, both of Wichita, previously pleaded guilty to possessing stolen explosives and are set for sentencing Jan. 5.
