A Schell City woman was injured in a single-vehicle accident at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday on Route AA, three miles south of Schell City in Vernon County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
Kimberly A. Nimmo, 54, was taken to Cedar County Memorial Hospital in El Dorado Springs, the patrol said.
Nimmo was driving a northbound car that ran off the road on a curve and overturned, the patrol said.
n A Diamond man was injured in a two-vehicle accident at 12:10 p.m. Tuesday on Highway 43, a tenth of a mile south of Joplin, the state patrol said.
Donald E. Kidd, 40, was taken by ambulance to St. John’s Regional Medical Center, the patrol said.
Kidd was a passenger in a northbound car driven by Russell J. Halls, 30, of Granby, that made a left turn into the path of a southbound car driven by Matthew D. Frazier, 26, of Joplin, the patrol said.
