COLUMBUS, Kan. — Cherokee County Attorney John Bullard has charged a Joplin, Mo., man with felony theft, alleging that the man stole a car.
Michael Bickford, age unavailable, was charged in Cherokee County District Court. The charge alleges that Bickford on Jan. 12 stole a Toyota Corolla belonging to Shawnda Howey and Sherri Howey.
Bickford also is charged with misdemeanor driving with a suspended license and misdemeanor property damage, alleging that he damaged an ignition key for the car.
