LANGLEY, Okla. — Authorities said the body of a Missouri man who had been missing since his boat capsized late last month in Grand River has been recovered.

The body of Ricky Beeson, 20, of Noel, was found Tuesday in the mouth of Spavinaw Creek in Lake Hudson, 10 miles down river from where Beeson’s boat reportedly capsized on March 30, according to a release from the Grand River Dam Authority.

The GRDA release stated that its Lake Patrol located the body. A caller to the Globe on Wednesday night said two fishermen had spotted the body and alerted the authorities, who went to the scene and retrieved the body. The Globe’s efforts to square the conflicting reports were unsuccessful.

The GRDA said the Lake Patrol will continue searching for the body of another man, Alan Lee Long, 47, of Anderson, Mo., who was accompanying Beeson. The patrol, with assistance from other agencies, is continuing the search for Long, the GRDA release stated.
