Shelters in Crawford County will close tonight, according to a news release from Sheriff Sandy Horton.
Both shelters — located at the McCune Community Building and the First Baptist Church in Cherokee — will close at 10 p.m.
Horton said that debris cleanup is going well and it does not appear there is a need for the shelters.
If anyone needs shelter after that time, contact the sheriff’s department at (620) 724-8274.
