ARCADIA, Kan. — A $5,000 reward has been issued for information leading to the arrest of a person or persons suspected of setting fires that destroyed two buildings in Arcadia on Tuesday, according to a press release from the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office.

Two suspicious fires were reported within 10 minutes of each other early Tuesday. The first fire, reported at 3:29 a.m., destroyed an abandoned house at 842 N. 250th St. in rural Arcadia.

The second fire, reported at 3:35 a.m., destroyed a building at 108 W. Race St. owned by Coffee House for God, a non-profit organization.

The release stated the total damage to both structures is estimated at $25,000.
