The Pittsburg, Kan., City Commission today approved a $140,000 forgivable loan for NPC International, the world largest Pizza Hut franchise, as part of a deal that would initially bring 100 jobs to Pittsburg to operate an incoming call center. Employees would answer calls for people ordering pizzas in the Kansas City area. The call center would be located in the former National Mills building, 711 E. Washington Ave., which closed in March.

NPC officials today said they hope to add more jobs annually, potentially growing to as many as 200 jobs.
