A "tea party" is being scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday and is being billed as a "July 4th Celebration of American Freedom. "
The event will be held at Landreth Park in the south shelter. Speakers will include Jim Guest, Shyanna Busch, John Putnam, Mark Kinsley and Chris Yaudas. Also included will be time for citizen remarks and patriotic music.
Tea party events are being held across the nation as a protest of government spending.

Couple 'scoop out' ice cream business from the past
