A “Remember Michael Jackson” candlelight vigil will be held at 8 p.m. today at Spiva Park, Fourth and Main streets.
Beverly White, of Joplin, is organizing the event. She said she grew up listening to the Jackson 5’s music and watching the group’s TV shows, and followed Jackson’s solo career.
Those who want to pay tribute to Jackson’s memory are asked to take candles and Jackson music to the vigil.
“This is for all fans to get together and remember him,” White said.

Couple 'scoop out' ice cream business from the past
