An Alba woman is facing a felony drug charge as the consequence of a traffic stop by Joplin police.
Police Cpl. Chuck Niess said an officer stopped a car about 12:30 a.m. Tuesday at Fourth Street and Schifferdecker Avenue.
The driver, Sheylise N. Fletcher, 20, allegedly was found in possession of several small bags of methamphetamine, a syringe and a spoon. She was taken into custody and later charged with felony possession of a controlled substance, Niess said. A 23-year-old male passenger was arrested on several misdemeanor warrants.
