PSU approves 7.4 percent tuition increase

PITTSBURG, Kan. — Pittsburg State University will raise tuition by 7.4 percent, or $162 per semester for a full-time, instate undergraduate beginning this fall.

Last fall, those students paid $2,193 in tuition each semester, and that would go to $2,355 when classes begin in August.

Under PSU’s flat-rate tuition plan, full-time students pay one rate, regardless of how many hours they take.

The proposal was approved today by the Kansas Board of Regents during a meeting in Topeka.
