Two people were injured in a two-vehicle accident at 8:02 a.m. Wednesday on Cedar Road, one mile east of Anderson in McDonald County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Tiffany Lovatt, 26, Anderson, driver of one of the vehicles, sustained moderate injuries. Madison D. Schatz, 16, Anderson, driver of the other vehicle, also sustained moderate injuries. They were transported to Freeman Neosho Hospital.

Authorities said Schatz, who was going north, pulled into the path of Lovatt, whose vehicle was going east.

n Two people were injured in a car-truck accident at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday on Highway 60, three miles west of Aurora in Lawrence County, the patrol said.

Jeannie Clark, 44, Aurora, driver of the car, and a passenger, Connie S. Peck, age unavailable, Mesa, Ariz., were transported to Aurora Community Hospital.

Joshua Abercrombie, 25, Pierce City, driver of the truck, was not injured.

The patrol said Abercrombie, who was going west, slowed to make a left turn, and his vehicle was struck from behind by the Clark car.
