Joplin police recovered a vehicle Saturday morning that had been reported stolen in Kentucky and arrested its two occupants on fugitive warrants from that state.
Cpl. Chuck Niess of the Joplin Police Department said an officer stopped a vehicle about 10:30 a.m. at Seventh Street and Maiden Lane because it matched a description and license plate numbers of a vehicle reported stolen in Kentucky.
Niess said the driver, Robyn E. Vick, 24, and passenger, Charles C. Moore, 30, both of Clinton, Ky., had outstanding felony warrants from Kentucky. They were arrested, and charges of being fugitives were filed against both of them. Niess said charges of receiving stolen property also were being sought against them.
