A La Russell man was injured in a single-vehicle accident at 8:05 a.m. Tuesday on Highway 96, less than three miles west of Miller in Lawrence County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

John W. Mason, 24, was taken to Cox Monett Hospital, the patrol said.

Mason was driving an eastbound pickup truck that skidded off the road, struck a ditch and overturned, the patrol said.

n An Arkansas man was injured in a single-vehicle accident at 5:50 p.m. Monday on Highway 86 at Route J near Golden in Barry County, according to the state patrol.

Kent A. Miller, 53, was taken by ambulance to St. John’s Hospital in Cassville, the patrol said.

Miller was driving a westbound pickup truck that ran off the road, struck a fence and started to overturn, the patrol said.

n A Golden City teenager was injured in a single-vehicle accident at midnight Sunday on Route T, five miles east of Jasper in Jasper County, according to the state patrol.

Eric L. Lessman, 16, was taken to St. John’s Regional Medical Center in Joplin, the patrol said.
