NEVADA, Mo. — Vernon County authorities located the body of a missing 20-year-old Nevada man about midday Monday.

Sheriff Ron Peckman said Kaleb Brewer had been missing since Thursday night, when was seen in a vehicle in Nevada. Authorities found Brewer’s vehicle and body Monday on the southern edge of the town.

Peckman said Brewer apparently drove off Route BB into some water. The county coroner pronounced him dead at the scene of the accident.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol was notified and is investigating the accident, the sheriff said.
