A federal grand jury in Tulsa, Okla., this week indicted two Joplin men, accusing them of conspiring to steal from the Seneca-Cayuga Tribe’s Grand Lake Casino near Grove, Okla., according to the U.S. attorney’s office for the Northern District of Oklahoma.
The federal prosecutor’s office said in a news release Tuesday that William R. Lancaster, 49, and Mark V. Edmiston, 45, are accused of working in concert several times in September and October to use and cash in counterfeit poker chips at the casino.
The U.S. attorney’s office said the men allegedly stole more than $25,000 from the casino and would meet in the casino’s parking lot to split up their take.
