An Anderson resident was injured in a two-vehicle accident at 6:45 a.m. Thursday on Highway 76, three miles east of Anderson in McDonald County, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
David R. Jones, 54, was taken by ambulance to Freeman Hospital West in Joplin, the state patrol said.
Jones was driving a westbound car that crossed the center line and struck an eastbound tractor-trailer driven by Steven C. Foster, 38, of Columbus, Kan., the patrol said.
