CASSVILLE, Mo. (AP) — A 7-year-old girl has become the first Barry County resident to die of swine flu.
Springfield station KYTV reported that the girl contracted the disease late last month and died this past Tuesday.
Health department officials said the girl did have medical problems before falling ill.
Her hometown has not been released.
