MIAMI, Okla. — The cause of a fire that damaged a rental home Wednesday in Miami remains under investigation.
No injuries were reported in the fire reported at 1:45 p.m. in the 400 block of A Street Southwest, according to fire Lt. John Turner. Turner said flames were venting through the roof of the single-story home when firefighters arrived.
Firefighters confined fire damage to the attic, but the residence had smoke and water damage as well. Turner said the cause of the fire had yet to be determined by Thursday afternoon.
