Arctic air mass brings dangerous temperaturesAn Artic cold front will push into the region today with colder temperatures arriving this afternoon. Wind chills will fall into the single digits with some readings near zero possible across West Central Missouri and Southeast Kansas tonight. The cold air mass is expected to remain over the region Tuesday night into Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service in Springfield.
