CARL JUNCTION, Mo. — The Carl Junction City Council on Tuesday night approved a lease between the city and Blooch Brothers LLC, represented by brothers Derek Collier and Ryan Collier, for the property at 1203 E. Pennell Ave., which currently houses the senior center.

The Colliers have said they plan to move their business, Gambino’s Pizza, to the building from its current location, 1300 E. Pennell Ave., in order to expand.

The lease outlines an annual cost of $11,400 and an initial 5-year term. It will begin March 1, 2010.

The senior center will move into the new community center on Main Street early next year, when construction is scheduled to finish.
