WEBB CITY, Mo. —
After months of work, the city’s new Route 66 Center will open for business Tuesday.
Located in a former gas station one block west of Main Street on Broadway, the center will house office space; a shop featuring Route 66 and Webb City merchandise; and a display room and meeting space.
The focal point of the building is a mural by Mayor John Biggs.
Refreshments and a ribbon-cutting ceremony are set for 10 a.m. Tuesday. The public is invited to attend.
