NEOSHO, Mo. — Neosho development services director Dana Daniel on Tuesday provided information to the City Council about his plan to display the training jet on loan from the Air Force.

The disassembled Cessna T-37B has been in storage since the city got it nearly a decade ago.

“We’ve got to get the plane put together and painted,” Daniel told the Council. “My hope is by fall, we’ve got that plane painted and ready to put on display.”

The plan is to display the jet at the Neosho - Hugh Robinson Memorial Airport.

Mayor Richard Davidson said he would be in favor or returning the plane to the Air Force if it’s not on display by next March.
