NEOSHO, Mo. — The Neosho City Council on Wednesday delayed a decision on appealing a November court ruling against its challenge of the formation of the Neosho Transportation Development District.

Mayor Richard Davidson cited as the reason a letter received around 5 p.m. Tuesday by City Attorney Steven Hays. Davidson declined to describe the contents of the letter, which Council members discussed behind closed doors with Hays. After the meeting adjourned, he said the letter was from a third party, not related to the city or to the TDD board.

The Council plans to discuss the matter and make a decision at its regular meeting on Tuesday.
