A tip helped law officers pinpoint the location of a body believed to be that of 8-month-old Eddie Salazar, law officers said at a press conference that is now under way in Carthage. Officers found the body of the boy in Spring River east of Carthage this afternoon, but they have yet to release any details about the tip.
They also have not specified a cause of death, but said the body will be autopsied.
No additional charges have been filed against the father as of this time, according to officers.
