JOPLIN, Mo. —
Filing for two open seats on the Joplin Board of Education will open at 8 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 11, and will continue through Jan. 15, 2013.
Anyone interested in running for a position on the board can file for candidacy at the district’s administrative offices, 3901 E. 32nd St., during regular business hours, which are 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
The offices will be closed during inclement weather and between Dec. 24 and Jan. 1.
There are two positions available. Each carries a three-year term.
