Chris Leshinski has been hired as an assistant soccer coach, Missouri Southern head coach Alese Woolard announced Monday.
“I am excited to have Chris join our program,” Woolard said in a news release. “His previous coaching experiences will be a great addition. He is familar with MSSU and our soccer program, and he is aware of the expectations that we have. His knowledge of the game will serve us well as we look to the future of MSSU soccer.”
Leshinksi has coached at the high school and college levels. He spent 14 of the past 15 years as a high school coach in Texas and Arkansas. He directed Rogers High School to a 2006 state championship, earning NSCAA Arkansas Coach of the Year honors that season. He was an assistant coach at the University of Dubuque in Iowa in 2003.
He also has coached club teams in Texas and Arkansas and was a staff coach with the Arkansas Olympic Development Program.
