MSSU track teams to compete at Pittsburg State

Missouri Southern’s outdoor track and field season gets into full swing today when the Lions enter the Wendy’s/PSU Invitational on Prentice Gudgen Track inside Carnie Smith Stadium.

Field events begin at noon, and the running events will start at 3 p.m.

The 13 team field also includes MIAA members Central Missouri and Lincoln along with the host Gorillas.

The Lions are entered in meets the next five weekends, including their Bill Williams/Bob Laptad Invitational on April 26 at Fred G. Hughes Stadium.

The MIAA meet is slated May 3-5 at Fort Hays State.
