Newton County Sheriff’s deputies on Friday arrest Cecil Scribner, an employee of the Swimmin’ Hole. Scribner allegedly struck a deputy who was at the water park to verify that owner James Burt had proof of securing a $1 million liability insurance policy required under a new state law. Scribner has been charged with one felony count of assaulting a law-enforcement officer. None /
