NOTABLE: Chloe Hadley

JOPLIN, Mo. — CHLOE HADLEY is president of the senior class at Joplin High School.

“She’s a great, great kid,” said Assistant Principal Gregory Boyd. “She did countless things this summer to help with recovery and get ready for school.”

“I’ve gotten shirts to about 400 of our seniors, and I collected donations for seniors who couldn’t afford to buy the shirts,” Hadley said.

“She’s been there for all the interviews with national media as a representative and spokesperson for our district,” Boyd said. “She did a wonderful job. She was here at 5 a.m. doing interview after interview. She worked all summer helping us.”

She even helped in formulating future plans for the district’s new schools.

“I was there with the architect,” Hadley said. “He asked us what we thought of the designs for the new building. We were also there for another meeting for the brand new school they plan to build.”
