JOPLIN, MO —
Frank Guodace, age 78, of Joplin, Mo., passed away on Sunday, Nov. 11th, 2012, at his home surrounded by family.
Frank was born Jan. 27, 1934, in Meriden, Conn.
He served as a United States Marine in the Korean War and earned three Purple Hearts.
Frank enjoyed spending time with his family and time at Table Rock Lake with close friends. He enjoyed Boating, RC Planes, Ham Radio and telling jokes.
Frank was welcomed into Heaven by his mother, grandmother and three uncles.
Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Donna Guodace; daughter, Lynda Guodace Shreve and husband, Scott; son, Brian "Gus" Guodace and wife, Megan; son, Michael Guodace; and grandchildren, Conner, Derek, Ethan, Gage, Easton, Gabrielle and Lucas.
Shortly before his passing Frank received the Eucharist by his oldest son, Brian "Gus".
Celebration of life will be held at St. Peter's Catholic Church on Thursday, Nov. 15th, at 2 p.m.
The family request that in lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution be made to Donna Guodace.
