INDEPENDENCE, Mo. —
Tony D. Hitchcock, age 59, passed away after a long illness, Tuesday morning, April 9, 2013, at home where he resided with his fiancee, Kathy Rimmer and her son, John, in Independence, Mo.
Tony retired from Bayer Corporation and worked for Midwest Material Management.
He was preceded in death by his father, Melvin Hitchcock; stepfather, Richard Close; and his sister, Gerry Lynn Hitchcock.
In addition to Kathy, he is survived by his two daughters, Laura Flemming (Josh) and Alison Hitchcock; his mother, Helen Close; two sisters, Susie Barnes (Steve) and Lindia Hitchcock; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many special friends.
Family and Friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life at Jackson County Shrine Club, 120 ½ South Pleasant Street, Independence, on Sunday, April 2t, at 2 p.m.
