JOPLIN, MO —

Theodore Christopher “Teddy” Johnson, age 28, of Joplin, passed away on Saturday, May 22, 2010.

Teddy was born Dec. 6, 1981, in St. Croix Falls, Wis. He attended school in Vinita, Okla., and earned a Culinary Arts Degree. He worked in construction and loved the outdoors, especially fishing and helping with landscaping projects.

Survivors include his mother, Julie Johnson and Brian Tipton, of Joplin; a brother, Anthony Johnson, of Wisconsin; two sisters, Tanya Coen and Tabatha Coen Longoria, both of Joplin; his fiance, Tina Cook and her sons, William, Donny, Thomas, Terran and Eric Cook, all of Joplin; grandparents, Richard and Donna Johnson, of Wisconsin; and aunt and uncle, Randy and Luwanna Marek.

Memorial services will be Thursday, June 3, at 4 p.m. at Oak Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Johnny Wilkins officiating.
