WEBB CITY, MO —
Elma June Kash, 83, of Webb City, Mo., passed away Monday, Oct. 15, 2012, following a lengthy illness.
June was born Aug. 20, 1929, in Joplin, Mo., daughter of Franklin and Martha Pyles Morey. She was a telephone operator for Bell Telephone, retiring in 1960. She was also very active with Crosslines and Freeman Volunteers where she made caps for newborns. She also served as an election judge in Jasper County.
June married Harrison Kash on Aug. 8, 1959, in Carterville, Mo.
June was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband, Harrison; and one son, Paul, both of Webb City.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 18, at Ozark Memorial Park with Jarel Burnside, Minister, officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Hedge-Lewis Funeral Home.
