JOPLIN, Mo. —
Eloise June Bearden, age 71, of Joplin, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2014, at her home, following an illness.
Eloise was born on Jan. 6, 1943, in San Francisco, Calif., the daughter of the late Floyd and Hazel (Hensley) Bearden. She has been a resident of Joplin for the past 34 years. She graduated from MSSC with an Associates degree in Drafting. She was a member of the Pentecostal Tabernacle Church of Joplin. She was a genealogist.
Eloise is survived by three daughters, Mechelle Wininger, Joplin, Brenda Jones, West Pueblo, Colo., and Debbie Glander, West Bend, Ore.; one son, Paul Glander, Joplin; three sisters, Diane Wethey, Chetopa, Kan., Phyllis Hardee, Wyandotte, Okla., and Vickie Murphy, Granby, Mo.; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, Jerry Glander; one sister, Elizabeth Grady; and one brother, Richard Bearden.
A private family burial has been scheduled.
