JOPLIN, Mo. —
Donna Maxine Hardy, age 81, Joplin, Mo., went to meet her Heavenly Father at 1:45 p.m. Monday, April 23, 2012.
Donna was born Sept. 4, 1930, in Pittsburg, Kan. to the late Clemma F. Clemmons and Ellen Rose Rogers Clemmons and had lived in the Joplin area all of her life.
She worked for the Joplin R-VIII School District for over 30 years. She managed the cafeteria at Cecil Floyd Elementary School and was a faithful member of Joplin Heights Baptist Church.
Donna was preceded in death by her husband, John Hardy in 1977.
Survivors include her children, Jim Hardy and his wife, Kathryn, Webb City, Mo., Barbara Wolfe and her husband, Bob, Joplin, Marsha Templeton and her husband, Jerry, Webb City; 10 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; three great great-grandchildren; and special family member, Bobby Fort, Joplin.
Donna has been taken for cremation.
Graveside services are planned for Friday at 11 a.m. in Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery. Rev. Ed Brown will officiate.
