JOPLIN, Mo. —
Patricia A. Patt Maryman-Howard, age 58, of Joplin, Mo. passed away early Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012, at St. Johns-Mercy Hospital in Joplin following a long illness.
Patt was born on June 11, 1954, in Joplin, the daughter of Clyde C. and Anna L. (McFarland) Maryman. She has been a lifetime area resident, she was the store manager of Stinger Sam Auto Parts for 22 years. Patt enjoyed researching her family's genealogy, but she was happiest spending time with her family.
She married Samuel J. Howard on Oct. 20, 1978, in Miami, Okla., he survives. Additional survivors include one daughter, Mackie Pounds and her husband, Tim, of Joplin, two sons, Dustey Howard and his wife, Amber, Brad Howard and his wife, Stormi, all of Joplin; one brother, Clyde Butch Maryman and his wife, Lisa, of Joplin; one sister, Sandra Peavler-Houpt and her husband, Bill, of Joplin; five grandchildren, Tayler, Garrett, Sammy, Nolan and Tucker; and her beloved nieces and nephews. Patt was preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters, Eloise and Suzanne Maryman.
Funeral services have been scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 31, at the Mason-Woodard Chapel, Pastors Mike Raney and Max Raney, will officiate. Burial will follow in Osborne Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 4 to 5 p.m.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to be made in Patt Howards memory to Fresenius Medical Center of Joplin in care of the funeral home.
