Kimalee Neiharte Sutton, age 57, Webb City, passed away Thursday, Jan. 10, at K.U. Medical Center in Kansas City, Kan.

Kim was born July 21, 1955, in Webb City, Mo. to Ralph and Mary Neiharte Berry and lived in the Webb City area all of her life.

Kim graduated from Webb City High School in 1973, and married Jeff Sutton on June 26, 1976. She was a 30 year member of the Rho Sigma chapter of Beta Sigma Phi. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Webb City where she taught the four year old Sunday School class for many years.

Kim was a long time employee of the Webb City School District where she worked as an Aide at the Carterville Elementary School. She was a compassionate, encouraging and caring person who positively impacted the lives of the many students and staff that knew her.

Survivors include her husband, Jeff; son, Greg and his wife, Jodie, of Webb City; her beloved granddaughter, Morgan; her sister, Emily Harvey and her husband, Tony, of Anderson Mo.; her sisters-in-law, Jane Pashia, of DeSoto, Mo. and Gail Brown, of Broken Arrow, Okla.; her aunt, Carol Cruzan, of Joplin; her neices, Lindsey Carpenter, Lacey Imel, Jennifer Carr; and nephew, Jim Sutton; and eight great-neices and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Ralph Neiharte; her mother, Mary Neiharte Berry; and her husband, Paul; and brother-in-law, Jim Sutton.

Pallbearers will be Aaron Greek, Eric Wright, Lloyd (Butch) Morrill, Elijah Triplett, Josh Carr and Daniel Carr.

Honorary Pallbearers are DeShon Williams, Jaden Triplett, Zachary Sutton, John Cruzan, and Tim Reed Jr.

Visitation will be Monday, Jan 14, from  5 to 6 p.m. at Simpson Funeral Home in Webb City. Services will be held at the First Baptist Church in Webb City, Tuesday Jan 15, at 1 p.m. officiated by Pastor Ron Woody. Burial will be at Mount Hope Cemetary in Webb City.

Arrangements are under the direction of Simpson Funeral Home, Webb City.
