SENECA, MO —

Helen V. (King) Ball, 89, Seneca, Mo., passed into eternal rest 11:10 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013, after an illness.

Helen Violet King was born Sept. 5, 1923, in Reeds Spring, Mo., the daughter of James E. King and Macie Lucile (Creamer) King. Helen formerly owned and operated Juniors Service and Package Store, rural Seneca.

Helen V. King married Ashley D. Ball Jr. in 1941, and he preceded her in death in 1991.

Survivors include her children, Marvin Ball and wife, Darlene, Alma, Ark., Terry Wayne Ball and wife, Kathleen, Wyandotte, Pamela Hembree and husband, Raymond, Spring City, Mo., and Ashley Randall Ball, Wyandotte, Okla.; brothers, Max King, Seneca, and Jackie King, Caney, Kan.; sister, Reba Martin, Seneca; 17 grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Helen was also preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Jimmy King and Joe King; sister, Louise King; sons, Edwin D. Ball and Gary D. Ball; and one granddaughter.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 28, at the Seneca Cemetery, West Seneca, Okla. The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 27, at the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca, Mo.
