JOPLIN, Mo. —
Monica M. Webb, age 36, Joplin, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 18, 2012, at Freeman West Hospital.
Monica was born July 30, 1976, in Topeka, Kan., and attended school in Joplin. She worked as a Certified Nurses Aide with Spring River Christian Village and Silver Creek Assisted Living Center both in Joplin.
Monica was preceded in death by a grandfather, Howard Robinson; and her great-grandparents, Venetta and Elmer Webb.
Survivors include her children, Junior Hackett, Akasha Hackett, and Damitra Hackett; father, Robert D. Webb, of Topeka; mother, Sylvia Webb, of Joplin; brothers, Tony Scott, Jr., of Joplin, Sydney Mossiah, of Houston, Texas; sisters, Aireal Webb, of Topeka, Nerissa Webb and Teresa Rogers both, of Joplin; grandmother, Beverly Nixon; step-grandmother, Pat Robinson; step-father, Tony Scott, Sr. all, of Joplin; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews including, Scott and Sheila Webb, Chris Evans, Ridgie Webb, Ranza Britt, Pete Ramon, Shelba Ramon, and Charlotte and Cynthia Nixon of Pennsylvania.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2012, at 2 p.m. at St. Paul United Methodist Church with Rev. Willie E. Rogers, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Parker Mortuary on Monday from 6 to 7 p.m.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to help Monicas children in care of Sylvia Webb.
