WEBB CITY, Mo. —

 

Mrs. Eunice K. Wise, age 88, of Webb City, Mo., passed away Sunday, Feb. 19, 2012, at the Spring River Christian Village.

Eunice was born May 15, 1923, in Billings, Mo. to Herman and Mary Schmill Kloppenburg.

She married Jeffords Morris Wise, March 24, 1945, in Springfield, Mo.

They resided in Springfield until 1958 when they moved to Webb City. There she taught Home Economics at the Webb City Junior High School for 25 years, retiring in 1983.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Webb City and the Webb City Genealogy Society.

She was preceded in death by her husband in January of 1988; her parents; two brothers; and two stepsons.

She is survived by two daughters, Brenda Williams and husband, Terry, of Rolla, Mo. and Evelyn Allen and husband, Bill, of Carl Junction, Mo., 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 22, at the Simpson Funeral Home in Webb City with Rev. John Sherwood officiating. Burial will follow in Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery. There will be a visitation from 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church Building Fund or the Webb City Genealogy Society.

Arrangements are under the direction of Simpson Funeral Home in Webb City.
